Mike Phillips takes up CFO role at Micro Focus on 4 October, replacing NickBray

Software modernization specialist Micro Focus has appointed the former chiefexecutive of IT Service supplier Morse as its new CFO.

Mike Phillips will take up the position of chief financial officer on 4October, replacing Nick Bray who left in July to move to a rival business. Priorto his CEO role at Morse, Phillips had been group finance director at the samecompany and FD at Microgen before that.

Phillips has also worked in corporate finance for Smith & Williamson andled the UK technology team at PwC for two years
