2010 has seen ?an intense recruitment push?


The beginning of 2010 has seen an upswing in the number of accounting jobs,according to recruitmenters Robert Walters.

The firm said it has witnessed ?an intense recruitment push? which itbelieves was caused by new headcount allowances at large businesses.

Andrew Hanson, director of financial services recruitment division, said bothsenior and junior-level permanent recruitment markets looked promising for 2010.

?Some institutions are returning to profit and so will be looking to furtherbuild out revenue streams. We expect opportunities for accountants in financialservices to increase during the rest of year,? he said.
