Charles Stanley Group chooses KPMG as its new auditor, after fifty years with Saffrey Champness

Charles Stanley Group has changed its auditors of fifty years, Saffrey Champness, and replaced the firm with KPMG.

The Big Four auditor was appointed in place of Saffreys after a competitive tender.

"We retain the highest regard for Saffrey Champness, who will continue to provide other services to the group," stated Charles Stanley chairman Sir David Howard in a circular to shareholders.

There were no other circumstances surrounding the switch that required bringing to the attention of creditors or shareholders of the group.

Charles Stanley has been a member of the London Stock Exchange since 1852, and provides stockbroking and investment services.
