Capita moves to KPMG for its audit after 26 years with Ernst & Young

KPMGhas won the audit of FTSE 100 outsourcing companyCapitafrom Big Four rivalErnst &Young.

Capita decided to walk away from E&Y, which has audited the company sinceits initial listing in 1984, after a competitive review.

Directors told shareholders they ?felt it was time to review the auditservices required to support Capita?.

Last week, KPMG also won the audit of AIM listed research company SilenceTherapeutics Plc from accountants Grant Thornton.

The announcement comes a day after the 2.7bn turnover company announced theacquisition of the National Dental Plan for 30 million.
