UK and Ireland division of Ernst & Young appoints 48 new partners overthe past 12 months


E&Y has admitted 48 new partners into the UK and Ireland in the last 12months.

The firm brought 31 partners on board today, while its EMEIA divisionadmitted a total of 171.

The UK and Ireland business saw 15 tax partners appointed, 12 in advisory, 11in assurance, eight in transaction advisory services, one in operations and onein markets.

"The UK & Ireland firm makes a vital and significant contribution to thedevelopment of our global business, both in terms of revenue generation and themobility of our skilled people," said Scott Halliday, managing partner UK &Ireland, Ernst & Young.
