The Simpson Scholarship exists to reward talented ACCA students who have already proven themselves to be of sufficient merit and distinction in ACCA examinations.

Each year, the Simpson Scholarship will fund the ACCA examination and registration fees of five students for a period of five years or until they become members – whichever happens first.

In order to be eligible for the Scholarship, applicants must meet strict qualification criteria and submit a 1,000 word essay.

The 2008 closing date for receipt of Scholarship applications is Tuesday 15 July.

I am a student in Malaysia and currently a Diploma graduate from a college in Malaysia which offers internally assessed ACCA course. We are supposed to take the exams and then the college will get us exempted for the few subjects approved by ACCA when we proceed to Advanced Diploma. However, I am no longer interested in continuing my studies at the college and want to change to another college if I can get this Simpson scholarship. If I failed, I will continue my studies at my current college. I really want to apply for the Simpson scholarship but I am still not a registered student yet since I am on holidays until 25th May and we would only get registered after my course starts around June. But the scholarship closing date is on May 15 What can I do now? This is highly recognized college with platinum status from ACCA
