Default Question about internal control.

Hello people on this forum, just wish i had found here eariler. People here seem really knowledgeable.

I am currently stuck with a question on internal control, the question is "Explain the key objectives that internal controls relating to an accounting system are designed to achieve."

Could anyone give me some advice/guidance on answering this question please?

Thanks
