Default Self Study for ACCA

Have a Finance Diploma. Is the above possible without forking out 800 Euros prep course?

Yes you can start at F3. You can do F1, F2 and F3 in any order. They can all be done by Computer Based Exam too, so you don't need to do them in the usual June and December exam times. You need to find your nearest CBE centre, and then check with them when the next CBE session is.

Good luck.

I would think so. I did F2 and F3 by self study without any prep course. If you have some finance experience, then I think it is relatively OK.

I used the self-study courses from BPP. They are OK for this level, but for the next step up (F8 Audit for me), I found them a bit lacking in detail. But I did pass audit after a lot of cramming from textbooks.

I find self study works for me, but have to be quite self-motivated. I have done some revision courses for later exams, and found them useful to get the exam tips from the tutors.
