I got 49 marks in f5 recent acca exam and I am very confident that atleast i should pass, can any body suggest me whether i can use acca administrative review service.

does any body from here used it before and what was their experience, I would like to take suggestion before applying so that i will not be wasting money

It is a waste of time and money. They will never admit they marked it wrong and you wont be able to see your handout. They will send you a brief report stating which questions you passed and which you did not. My friend was in the sam situation as you, 49 marks, and they did not change their minds Sorry! I think it is better not the know the marks in this kind of situation Hope you get it next time!

Hi, I have just got my results for F8, yet again I got 48 this is my 10th time doing this paper, I have passed P1 P3 and all the rest but cannot pass the auditing, I have never got less than 48 which makes me feel that there is a serious problem with the marking system.

hi i failed F5 twice wid 47 and 49 marks.its no use of sending for revaluation.you will get the same result.i hav got thru all the diff papers but this F5 is a paper which im not able to get thru.i really duno wat or hw 2 to pass this paper. if any1 else can suggest some tips, please help!

since F8 is a theory paper, jus practice the questions by writing them,mayb you lack some writing skills which doesnt impress the examiner . while F8 is all abt auditin, try to get a good knowledge on auditin, lyk the complete cycle of hw auditing works (u dun need audit experience for it).hope it works wid u n besides try a new approach wid F8.u may have developed this -ve attitude towards this paper wid several attempts,that cud be restrictin u 4m preparin well.

first i would like to know how many marks did you attempted( i.e did you had any time management problems)

I would recomend you to download the F8 june 2009 attempt paper and prepare summary answers, and check it with the suggested solutions cause many students in theory papers dont fully understand the question requirments and try to regurgitate all they know about the topic instead of what is required.


Second most common cause of failure is not satisfying the the requirments of the question especially don't taking into account the action verb used in the question.

very disappointed too with my F5 results, second attempt and getting worse.
dont think an admin review would do much. See you Dec 09
