Default F5 Study Guideline

Friends, i m new in this forum . Expecting, will be sharing ACCA issues with you.

I have enrolled for Dec-09 ACCA exam and taken F5 and F2.
How i should study F5? I mean what is the best way for reading. Should I go through the book entirely or should I read by checking EXAM KIT.

I am confused about the guideline.

Seeking your help.

Thank You.

Default F5

Hei,

I attempted F4 and F5 this June session. We do not have results yet, and I must say, I am a little bit afraid. From my experience I can tell you that doing only one of the 2 options did not work for me. I just could'nt feel comfortable. So I went though the text book 2, did all the examples. After that I finished the Question bank (I studied after BPP), I used the Revision Notes.

As many ACCA students say, it is important to cover all topics in the guideline. How you do that however, it is very much up to your own style - in terms of time and quantity of data assimilated.

Good Luck!

If i finished KAPLAN and revised for 2/3 times and do all of maths and theories.. If i complete exam kit and revise it for 2/3 times , wouldn't it be enough.

Default F5

I attempted F5 and F9 on June. Though the result is not available yet, I am happy with what i have done. I got to finish almost all of the questions in both papers.

My style of approaching this course are:

1. Use Detail Syllabus to guide my study - it mean that i try to cover all the questions in syllabus by reading the textbook. With this, I can answer most of the written question in the real exam.

2. Learn the fundamental formula and steps in approaching certain problem. The text book often give these information. In addition, exam kits provide specific scenarios. I find it very helpful during the real exam.

It works for me, but may not work with others. The best way is to explore what help you learn best.

i suggest you work as many questions as you can. All past paper questions should be worked out. question practice is the key to this paper. I find Kaplan very good for F5

All of you think, we should practice a lot before taking the exams.

Reading the book of Bpp is so sleepy, even it is not hard. Someone can give suggestions?
