Default F4 December 2008 ACCA Exam tips by BPP

F4 December 2008 ACCA Exam tips by BPP (Corporate and Business Law)

This exam consists entirely of compulsory questions; this makes question spotting particularly dangerous. The purpose of this analysis is to highlight the major syllabus areas that we would expect to be regularly tested, based on the Dec 2007, pilot paper and the sittings of the old syllabus 2.2 paper which was also examined by your examiner David Kelly

Use the following tips as important areas to cover but remember that no one knows what is in the exam, apart from the examiner. Your safest bet is to achieve good syllabus coverage in your revision, as the examiner aims to do in the exam.

lucky for everyone taking INT variant, this tip will help them alot more compared for us taking other variants. But like other variants we have advantage being our syllabus is much smaller. Like me im taking Malaysia variant, our court and law history only dates back around the 1950's. mostly we rely on the common law and our land law is based on australia land law. Well good luck to everyone taking The papers in December 08. godspeed

by the way, my lecturer says that all the papers are very much similar to UK papers, so it would be helpful to look at their papers as well...

fyi, i'm doing it the second time this time. my first try was in dec07, right after the syllabus change. the first question was directly from the UK pilot paper. i'm doin malaysian variant by the way

I've used the tips provided here for more than once..
They aren't anything new but it's a good thing to focus your studies on these topics along with what you're doing..
Imo, You cannot prepare for whole course with 100% of it's knowledge, the tips provide you the specific chapters you can read.. Sometimes they're correct and sometimes they aren't.

My experience says that FTC (kaplan) tips for F4 are the best... 70-100% of exam question are correctly anticipated... Don't know about the rest...
