Default Difference in Syllabus for Dec 2007 and June 2008

Hullo guys,

Ive got a little problem. ACCA books are a bit hard to come by in my part of the world, so I bought the BPP F4 Text for Dec 2007 when I found it. Now Ive realised that due to the Companies Act there might be some changes in the June 08 Exam which is the one Im taking. Does anybody know if there are significant changes in the syllabus for the two exam sessions?Should I look for the June 08 version?

Islamabad, there are only Dec 07 books available here and even those rare! Maybe the Jun 08 is now out, but there's hardly time for it now is there?

The relevant changes will be in the company law, articles of association etc. And there are major changes from what Ive seen. There are articles in the Feb and March version of the student accountant explaining the new act. I'll have to spend precious hours sorting out whats the difference from the previous syllabus.

Default Nothing to worry about

Not much have changed in Companies Act 2006, the only changes i figured out are:
Articles of Association
Number of directors can be one in plc
No age limit
Authorized share capital

if u read the feb article it states: "Please note that although
these topics are important, and hopefully
interesting, the content of these articles may
not be examined in the near future."

so no worries..
