Enough to go on?
|
|
So far, I've done this for all the papers...I studied beforehand, made my own notes & practiced everything. Then I framed a basic network for all the questions that will be attempted in such a way that I can remember what all I have to do in the exam. Right before the exam, I sat & read through the notes I made. I've done five papers of CAT and the first three papers of ACCA.
The question I want to ask is
Is this good enough to get me through the whole of ACCA or do I need to do more?

I like your style and indeed this may take you thru and really it depends on the quality of of the source of your notes. If you thorough then it may see you thru. Determination is great

past exam papers are very important in ACCA, especially the skilled models and above, cuz you have to be familiar with the examinor's type of questions.

Also, read the examiner answers of those past exams, together with the notes that examiner pressed his view on the majority answers of candidates (eg their mistakes on calculation, wrtiting skills, the way they attempt questions..)

My Mood:

Hi ... Your way is similar to mine, I make my own notes, then I study them before the exams & solve many questions of past papers.
But make sure to do the notes early, coz they really consume alooot of time
some people say they are time wasting, but its just the opposite, they are more simplified & useful

I did something like this for CAT, but ACCA f4 onwards is a bit too much for me to cover everything in a form of notes.
You can try, but I didn't because I didn't want to put so much time and effort into something I don't see working.
But, just because I can't, doesn't mean you can't. Follow your gut, I guess.
