hello guys..
can anyone of you please conferm abt the error in t7's q1 part b?...
College was going to hired competitors building.. n the requirment was what price should the college offer to competitor if i am not wrong...
please do comment..
and what abt the rest of the paper... it was tough.. is'nt it?

Error in ACCA Paper

well i really dont think that there could be an error in ACCA paper inline with the procedures they have in place .

But still the exam setters are humans so there is still a little chance


I would recommend that you wait a few days as the Paper would come online in the coming days.

well... in june 2008 .. i heard it was error in F7 of acca.. is it?

well requirement was to calculate the maximum price which can be offered to competitor

it is really confused me at this morning....but only one meaning here absolutely, that's the maximum PRICE for rent of the competitors' classroom that College CAN PAY...

the biggest problem for me is another info. of q1 part b, it's said"...competitor charge colleges all the price include heat. power and use of facilities..."(from my memory)
but without any number given...
this part looks like tesk decision making of make or buy and subcontract, but i still felt there r some information lose....

anyway i didnt attempt it and the man who nexted to me as also...

oh man..me too cant do it..darn confusing mee..hope it's a mistake..i juz put direct Material irrelevant.hahaha.i also didt do q2(c)..need moreee timeee!.thought dat there will be more variances n ratio dat wil make alot easier...last quest calculation look easy arhh o mayb tricky question..look sodirectt q..hmm..nvm lah..goin too prepared for t10 then!

well... most of my friends face problems with q1 part b .. all said yes there was something wrong with the .. figures missed or wrong requirment but there was somtehing wrong.. anyways pray that error is traced out by acca admin so we can get some marks from that question... q3 was relatively easy.. cvp! 4 was also easy ... rest paper was balanced i think..
