Hi ACCA ppls,

i need some experts advice..

I'm currently struggling whether to resign my job as a trainee in a small auditing firm,which i worked for 6 months.
my boss is kind to give me the job even though im only working for 2 days/week,and so i can attend classes(F4,5,9) for the other 3 weekdays.
and so i can clear the 3 years PER while studying and only by working 2 days/week.

i've no financial constraints,but now im worried for next sem as i'll be taking (P1,2,3)..for it'll be tougher & risk of failing is higher..working make less studying time..

my question is..Is it worth to sacrifice grades for the advantages given in my training?
should i just study full time during my P level?

I wouldnt give up my job if I was in your position. There are not that many employers who allow the part time work / study combination that you have.

There is no question that P1, P2 and P3 together will be tough but manageable. This time around I have done 3 units, and I work part time and get no time off from work for study unless I take holiday.

Given that you employers is supportive I wouldnt give up, you are getting valuable experience which will stand you in good stead. If you were to leave now, when the time comes to find another job you may find it difficult as you are qualified but not very experienced.

My advice.....keep the job, and carry on studying!
