Default ACCA Self Study

I graduated in Accounting & Finance 3 years ago, and have been trying to find a training contract ever since

as I still cannot find one I was contemplating studying at Kaplan (and paying myself) so that I can apply when I have done 2 exams- as I believe will look better to employers

would this be worthwhile?

I already have 7 exemptions so if I passed 2 next summer then I would only have 5 left

any help would be greatly appreciated

Are you located in London? There are many tuition providers there!

I have found that taking a class makes studying far easier. I am not suggesting that you would not be able to pass exams on your own with self study, it is simply easier to work with a knowledgable lecturer who can make the concepts crystal clear for you.

Is it due to lack of time or finances? Many schools offer part time (evening/weekend) courses!

sorry when I say self study I mean attending evening classes at a college such as BPP or Kaplan- this is my plan if I dont find a training contract in next few months

do many people fund their ACCA studies by themselves like this?

If attending classes is not convenient for you you can have online personal tuition I think. I'm also very busy at work, So I would prefer online tuition which I can arrange at a convenient time for me. Currently I'm having my revision for F5 and F7 from an institute named Tutor Wisdom via online. If the tutor is available I can arrange a live session anytime I need. It is very cheap when compared to other tuition courses. You can also try if you need.

Thanks guys discussed on such a great topic how to self study our ACCA course and i read many comments here and guys discussed very well that its not a local study although its not enough to study only in institutes you have to study by your self at your home also because its a professional course and without your participation or extra study you are un able to pass these courses.
